Famous rapper Snoop Dogg is back to creating controversies again. The rapper was the host of the NFL Honors Award ceremony on Thursday. As one of the biggest nights for the football players, and fans alike, the excitement for it was overwhelming.
Similarly, Snoop Dogg’s fans were of a similar mind since the news of his hosting the yearly awards ceremony was announced in January. Unfortunately, their blazing hype quickly turned to ashes just a few minutes into the show’s beginning.
For the players, as well as for the fans. The reason behind this was the rapper’s penchant for making controversial jokes at the attendees’ expense. In fact, the jokes went so far that even Snoop Dogg’s fans were disappointed.

Well, the 54-year-old rapper has seen many things in his life, and being caught up in controversies is also nothing new. Nonetheless,Snoop Dogg’s demeanor on the NFL Honors stage made many people uncomfortable. The people watching the ceremony were discomfited by his rude jokes.
So one can only imagine how the people who became the butt end of said jokes felt at that moment. From coaches to their partners, and players, nobody was spared from becoming Snoop Dogg’s targets.
As perCBS Sports, the retorts started just a few minutes into the show during his opening monologue. In it, he turned his attention towards former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and his current girlfriend by calling out their age gap.

Among Dogg’s continuous barrage of mean remarks, another one stood out when he zoomed into the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense line while talking about Quarterback Joe Burrow. According to theCincinnati Enquirer, the player has had quite the year, and was nominated in the Best Comeback Player category, which he won.
Last year, Joe bought a Batmobile for $2.9 million. Damn, ballin! I mean it has everything, jet propulsion, grappling hooks, spikes. I guess he wanted one thing in life: to have a good defense.
The rapper seemingly thought he made an amazingly witty remark. The NFL, too, is possibly of identical countenance as they have beenposting the clips everywhereon their social media accounts.

Many fans took to X to express their distaste at the rapper’s jokes. One commented that his jokes were neither funny nor entertaining, while another fan noted that he was just being downright rude and mean.

It is evident by their outburst, that fans are not at all happy with Snoop Dogg at present.
No matter their appreciation for his craft, they seem to hold him accountable for what they regard as bad behavior on his end. However, only time will tell if he ever realizes that he might have gone too far with his jokes.
