You get one poem as a hint for the code combination and are tasked to look for the clues hidden in plain sight in the room. But worry not–here are the locations where you can find them. You can also skip ahead and check the code if you want to solve the puzzle quickly.
Silent Hill 2 Room 206 Poem
The poem remains the same on anydifficulty that you choose, even though the puzzle solution/code changes slightly. Here is the one that you will get if you are playing the game in Standard or Hard modes:
“Right where the rooftops pierce through the night
Left are homebound footprints with no owner in sight
But has he found home, oh, please pray tell
or a river of memories leading right to his hell”

Clue 1 Location
Turn back from the Safe and check the right wall. You should see a house with footprints that has thenumber 7written on it.
Clue 2 Location
Walk towards the general direction of the exit door and look top-left towards the ceiling. On the wall, you will find multiple houses where the center one has thenumber 13on it.
Clue 3 Location
Once again, go back to the Safe, turn around, and look in the bottom left corner of the front wall. You should see a river andnumber 11.

Silent Hill 2 Room 206 Hard Clues
After reading the poem, look in the top-left corner of the wall to find a drawing of several houses. The middle one will have thenumber 13.
Face the poem again and turn right to find the house with footsteps andnumber 7behind the grill.
This one can be a bit tricky to find. Walk towards the exit door of Room 206 and start searching the wall on your right. You should find the river with thenumber 11on top near the ceiling.

How To Use Room 206 Safe Code In Silent Hill 2 Remake
You have to dial the code you gathered from the above clues. The combination that you will be using here is13-7-11. Start by turning the dial right to 13, then move it back to 7, and finally turn it to the right and select 11.
Players playing on Light difficulty should use the code15-11-13instead.
The Safe will now open, and inside, you can find the Coin [Man], which is needed for the Coin Cabinet Puzzle. Be sure to grab the Steel Key. You will need it to exit Room 206.
