And his anxiety grew afterSandra Bullocktold him that the“other guy”he was up against was a“cowboy from Texas.”Given the role was that of a Texan cowboy, Connick Jr. no longer felt certain about getting the part.“There’s no way I’m gonna get it,”he recalled.
