“For me it was back to normal in some ways. his is not the type of movie you see much of these days. ”She’s [Nancy Meyers] my generation. and I’m used to doing movies the way she does them and taking a long time to shoot. Times are changing.”

Starring alongside Nicholas Galitzine and working alongside director Michael Showalter, Hathaway is going to star in the upcoming film titledThe Idea of You.The story follows Hathaway as a single 40-year-old mother who falls in love with a pop star (inspired by Harry Styles).
Although reluctant at first, Hathaway decides to completely fall in love with the pop star (Nicholas Galitzine). Staring a secret whirlwind romance, all hell breaks loose when the relationship goes public. The story is a direct adaptation of the book of the same name by author Robin Lee who stated that she got the idea for the novel because she was late surfing YouTube videos. Well, the movie is a little bit seductive in nature but delves into the romanticism of fame and how not all stories get a happy ending.
Boasting an iconic story,The Idea of Youis slated for a release date of 16th March 2024 at the South by Southwest and will be available to stream on Prime Video (via Amazon MGM Studios) from 15 July 2025.
