If there’s one thingRed Dead Redemption 2has in spades, it’s atmosphere. The music ofRDR2plays no small part in cultivating that atmosphere, and as of today, you can findThe Music Of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Scoreon all major digital music platforms, includingApple MusicandSpotify.

It’s important to note that this is thescoretoRDR2.The soundtrack album was made available on digital music platforms last month(likeApple MusicandSpotify), and it features the brilliant “That’s The Way It Is” by Daniel Lanois and “Cruel, Cruel World” by Willie Nelson. Today’s release focuses on the haunting soundscape that colors the Western landscape ofRDR2. The music ofGrand Theft Auto Vwas released in a similar fashion: there is one album for its soundtrack and another for its score.

The score ofRDR2may not be full of hits, but it does provide ambiance. Through 22 tracks, antique violins, mandolins, and lush bass notes will make your room swell with the spirit of the Old West. you’re able to practically feel the tumbleweeds blowing through your speakers. Longtime Rockstar music collaborator Woody Jackson (L.A. Noire, Grand Theft Auto V)leads the way on the score ofRDR2, but he receives help from a wide range of artists and musicians from around the world, including Arca, Colin Stetson, Senyawa, David Ferguson, Jon Theodore and more.

However, as good as this release is, you should be prepared for a bit of disappointment. When the soundtrack album released last month, the omission of the “House Building Theme” from the epilogue mission “A New Jerusalem” caused a lot of frustration. Many couldn’t understand why such a fun and catchy song wouldn’t be included. Unfortunately, it is not included in this score album either, and it looks like that feeling of frustration will continue. You’ll just have to build another house in order tohear it again.

Red Dead Redemption 2is available now on PS4 and Xbox One. you’re able to also take a listen to the full score below from Spotify:
