TheReacherepisode “Burial” is the most exciting of the season. Why? Because the mystery becomes even more intriguing, the risks escalate, and the imposing protagonist, who is already “Hulk”-sized, becomes very, very angry after an attempt on his life.
The biggest development happens when Senator Lavoy confronts the former MP about his interrogation of his legislative director. Lavoy admits that he buried “Little Wing” (a nine-figure government defense contract won by New Age) in a bill and took his cut. However, he admits that he is a patriot, of course, and was only interested in strengthening the defense of this great country.
Lavoy and his lackey do their research and find Reacher’s history, including helping solve a case in Margrave (from last season) and his history with Finlay. Lavoy wants to hire Reacher to destroy the operation to bits so the technology will never endanger civilian lives. This also keeps Lavoy’s hands clean, or he would be prosecuted.
Lavoy tells him to get rid of everyone who could endanger lives (or could get back then link the Senator), and he will allow Reacher and his friends to leave cleanly. This is a clear indication that the Senator has the power to move the need to arrest Reacher, Neagley, Dixon, O’Donnell, and even Finlay.

Reacherepisode 6 will be released on Prime Video on Thursday, January 5th, 2023, at 8:01 p.m. ET/5:01 p.m. PT. The episode’s title is “New York’s Finest,” and the runtime of episode 6 is 49 minutes long, according to IMDB.
