Square Enixand FuturLab have announced thatPowerWash Simulatorwill be released for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 30th. The announcement was made via a PlayStation blog post rounding up some indie games heading to the consoles, which has since been taken down for an unknown reason.
Square Enix announced back in September 2022 that PowerWash Simulator would be coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles soon, with no details about its release window. A few months after revealing the PlayStation port, Sony has now confirmed that players can get cleaning later this month. However, developer FuturLab has not shared any further details about this PlayStation release, nor did it touch on the possibility that the hit simulation game would be coming to Nintendo Switch on the same day.

PowerWash Simulator received positive reviews from players and media outlets alike, thanks to its simple satisfaction of washing combined with relaxing gameplay. Since its initial launch in early access back in May 2021, the game has seen quite a bit of success by surpassing more than three million players across the globe.
PowerWash Simulator lets players build their own power-washing business during which they can blast away every speck of dirt while listening to the satisfying sound of high-pressure water. Players will start their business in career mode and complete a number of challenges across the town of Muckingham to earn plentiful rewards, which can be used to unlock new tools and upgrades. Moreover, players can relax and tackle different jobs with their friends in online co-op mode. All they will clean up is mold, moss, grime, and graffiti.
In our PowerWash Simulator review, we said: “It is still strangely fun and moreish and seeing the grime trickle away and the percentage done counter ticking slowly upwards is enough to keep players wasting water for hours.”
Other indie games that were confirmed to be coming to PlayStation consoles later this month are NeverAwake, Backfirewall, and Season: A letter To The future.
