Pokemon Go Yungoos Spotlight Hour July 2023 Shiny Status & Bonuses
For players who are just interested in shiny hunting during the Spotlight Hour, there is some good news as this week’s Spotlight Hour contains a shiny Pokemon. Shiny Yungoos was added to Pokemon Go quite recently, with it making its debut in March 2022 as part of the Welcome to Alola event. If you have seen a regular Yungoos, you might be well aware of its appearance, which resembles a mongoose with a light-colored belly and brown body. However, the shiny variant is quite different from the regular one and features a purple-colored belly and body stripe. This would make it much easier for you to spot shiny Yungoos in the wild, coupled with the sparkles you see with shiny Pokemon.
The shiny rates remain the same, although you might still have a better chance at catching a shiny Pokemon considering the spawn rate increases significantly. Coming to the bonuses for this week, players will be getting twice the amount of candy they usually get for transferring Pokemon. This can be a blessing in disguise for players who are short of candy and are looking to level up their Pokemon. Considering that the bonuses extend to all Pokemon in general, even if you are not interested in Yungoos, you can still take part in the event to capitalize on this.
