The Alolan Island celebration inPokemon GOcontinues with a move to Akala Island and with it comes the new An Akala Adventure Special Research.
Pokemon GOhad previously introduced the Alolan forms of already existing Pokemon such as Exeggutor and Sandshrew in the past, with the latter even being the focus of the recent Community Day event.
Now Niantic has finally moved on to the rest of the Alolan region with other Pokemon that are debuting throughout the Season of Alola, with the next part of the trip stopping off at Akala Island.
When Is The Special Research Available?
The Season of Alola is full of five different Special Research, the first four of which are based on an island in the Alolan region and the final an overall season research.
Following up on the A Melemele Adventure Special Research that you can still grab by signing into the game any time before June 1, you will also be able to obtain the An Akala Adventure Special Research starting on Tuesday, March 22, at 10:00 am local time.
Rather than be a Timed Research like the Lush Jungle one, this Special Research will be available for you to complete at anytime after obtaining it. It isn’t that difficult to complete though, so you should be able to finish it pretty quickly regardless.
An Akala Adventure Special Research Tasks and Rewards
The An Akala Adventure Special Research is similar to the A Melemele Adventure Special Research, with this one also being made up of four steps. Each step consists of three tasks for you to complete, which will each reward you with something, as well as multiple rewards at the completion of each step also.
