Persona 3 Reloadis a complete ground-up remake of the original game. While many of the original elements are still in the game, there are also a lot of additions to make this game feel like a new experience for new or returning fans.
Persona 3 Reload: Theurgy Explained
Theurgy is a powerful special ability introduced in Persona 3 Reload; here’s how it works.
Persona 3 Reload continues the series’s calendar system, with players living out the character’s life every day for about ten in-game months. Throughout the journey, players will be juggling their school studies, hanging out with friends, and fighting shadows during the Dark Hour.

10Get A Part-Time Job
Additional Yen & Social Stats
Part-time jobs are a bit more flexible in Persona 3 Reload than in real life. Getting and working part-time is completely up to the player when they want to work, and joining is as easy as showing up on nights when they need help. While getting money for working a part-time job is nice, the real benefit comes from the additional earned social stats.
Working a part-time job will also award social stats for those relevant to the store you’re working at. By working at Chagall Cafe, players will still be given a cup of coffee that increases their charm while also gettingcourageand getting paid instead of having to pay for it.

9Always Use The Garden
Easy & Cheap Healing Items
The items grown from the garden may not be very useful at first, but as dorm life opens up more and players can garden with their teammates, they can further boost the effectiveness of these items to make some of the better healing items in the game.
Gardening requires no work beyond planting the seeds and harvesting whatever grows a few days later. Gardening and harvesting also don’t take any time, making the garden a time-free restoration farm that will only cost a few hundred Yen to buy the seeds for.

8Maximize Social Stat Growth
Some Things Offer More Social Stat Points Than Others
There are many ways to grow your three social stats across their six levels. While there may seem like a bunch of options out there, some are literally twice as good as others. For many activities, they will only reward a single social stat point. Learning which activities give either one or two points is crucial to maxing out each social stat.
TheBig Eater Challengeis an easy way to get a bunch of points in each stat for only one activity, making it a priority for any player. While studying in your room may seem like the best way to earn Academics, eating seafood actually gives you two points. Maxing out your social stats is a breeze when you know the best way to get each point, and it can have you reaching the higher ranks as early as July.

7Save Your Money & Wait For Deals
The Items You’re Already Buying Go On Sale Sometimes
Everything costsmoneyin Persona 3 Reload, and regular battles don’t give out Yen. With this limitation, players will need to be more cautious with how they spend their money to make sure they have enough to summon a Persona of a specific Arcana before hanging out with a social link.
The police station will have deals you’ll be randomly told about, with this being the best time to buy new gear. On Sundays more rare items and gear are sold on the home shopping channel, which can often be a much better deal than buying at the usual places.

6Pace Out Your Tartarus Trips
Tartarus Is A Marathon, Not A Sprint
Tartarus is the main dungeon in the game, with only smaller dungeons being visited during the Dark Hour. Tartarus has more floors than players may think, and getting to the top is a requirement to complete the game. While the player won’t be forced to complete Tartarus by specific deadlines, continuous exploration is the key to being ready for Full Moon bosses.
There is a balance to grinding in Tartarus and also not burning out your interest in the constant repetitive climb, and breaking up your trips with the other aspects of the game can even help make it more engaging. By progressing the story, Missing Persons will also be added to Tartarus, along with Elizabeth’s requests, giving players even more to do in this massive tower.
5Complete Social Links
Get Access To The Strongest Personas In The Game
For those coming directly from Persona 5 and even 4, it can be a little surprising to learn that social links don’t offer bonus perks every few levels. While that feature isn’t present, there are still very useful bonuses to completing social links, with them leading to some of the biggest and best Personas in the game.
Upon maxing out a social link, players will then be able the fuse that Arcana’s Ultimate Persona. These Ultimate Persona are incredibly powerful and well worth the effort to get. Depending on the level of a social link, Personas of that Arcana will get a massive boost in XP when being fused, letting the player get Personas at a level well above their own.

4Complete Elizabeth Requests
Easy & Even Some Free Rewards
Elizabeth’s requests act as side quests that can mostly be completed at the player’s pace. Many of these side quests are completed simply by playing the game, such as defeating Shadows, opening chests, and reaching certain floors.
While these requests may not be very challenging, the rewards given for completing them quickly add up and are very useful. A common reward is Twilight Fragments, which are a rare resource players will need lots of throughout the game.
3Utilize Rewind
Maximize Your Time By Trying Different Things Out
The Rewind feature allows players to travel back to the most recent free time to make another decision without the need of keeping up with various save files. The Rewind system is super easy to use and can even send players back multiple days at a time.
Time is arguably the most valuable resource in Persona, and using it wisely is key to completing social links, maxing out social stats, and getting stronger to fight during the Dark Hour. Some aspects of the game will require experimentation, and the Rewind feature encourages this. Use it often to try out a few different ways to spend your time before making a final decision to determine what is best.
2Grow Combat Characteristics
Make Your Teammates Much Stronger With Fun Hangouts
Combat Characteristics are unlocked on 6/16, along with the expanded dorm life. Combat Characteristics are passive skills that are always active on your teammates, ranging from helping them deal more damage to cutting their SP usage in half or even a quarter.
Maxing out the Combat Characteristics is key to making that character as efficient in combat as possible, and leveling it up is also quite entertaining. Each hangout in the dorm that ranks up Combat Characteristics is fully voiced new interactions that also help flesh out the characters even more.
1Fuse New Personas
The Best Personas Can Only Come From Fusion
Fusion is the key to any Persona game. While getting stronger Personas through Shuffle Time is the more straightforward way, fusion lets players pick and choose which skills they pass on to a new Persona, letting them make an even stronger loadout for their new Persona.
Many Personas also can’t be found inShuffle Timeand will need to be fused. Fusion is the key to ranking up the main character’s Combat Characteristics and also the only way to get some of the best Personas in the game, making it the most important part of getting stronger in Persona 3 Reload.
