Repairing is an essential aspect in Palworld, as naturally, weapons and gear will begin to take damage the longer you use them. Once yourweapons and gear have become damaged, they stop becoming useful, meaning they will need to be kept in tip-top condition for them to function effectively. Though some of you may just craft new items to replace your old ones, repairing is a much more cost-effective way of achieving the same result.

Building A Repair Bench
Repairing weapons and other gear is all done through theRepair Bench, a technology pieceunlocked upon reaching Level 2in Palworld. To acquire the Repair Bench, simply head to the Technology tab in the menu and spend your Technology Points to unlock it. The resources needed to craft the Repair Bench are:

How To Repair Damaged Equipment
Interacting with the Repair Bench will bring you into its Item Management system, where you canrepair any applicable items currently in your inventory. The durability of each item will also be displayed, allowing you to keep track of when your gear is due for another repair. Each item you repair will cost resources, and the cost to repair each item is usuallyhalf of the resources needed to craft the itemin the first place. Once you have the specified resources, just hit Repair to bring the durability of your gear and weapons back to full.
How To Repair Schematic Weapons & Gear
Those of you who have acquired any of theSchematic weaponsin Palworld may be aware of just how expensive they are to craft. However, Schematic weapons and gear can also berepaired via the Repair Bench. The repair cost for each Schematic item is far less than the resources needed to craft them. However, do bear in mind that each one oftenrequiresAncient Civilization Partsto repair them- which are acquired from capturing or killingAlpha PalsandTower Bosses.
