Does Palworld Have Crossplay?
You also must keep in mind that, at the time of this writing, the gamedoes not currently support cross-platform play, meaning that Steam users must play with Steam users, and Xbox users must play with Xbox users. However, this is also something that the developers are looking to add to the game in the future.
They havemade the commitmentto bring cross-play to the game, which is also when the Steam and Game Pass versions will be identical. At this moment, the developers have not mentioned when that could be coming to the game.
You also need to note that the host must beonline and activein order for the World to continue running. Everything is tied to their host server, and if they log out of the game, all other players will be kicked from it. Each character is tied to the world that you create in, meaning you cannot bring that character from your multiplayer world into another one. You will need to make a new one when joining another world. Currently, there is a persistent error that is in the game,mainly on the Game Passversion of the game that is prohibiting players from being able to play multiplayer.
This error appears after you haveset your World to be multiplayerand attempt to join it. It will appear on your screen, telling you that there was an issue connecting to the World. While there has not been an official fix to this problem released yet, many players have reported that backing out and then trying again can get it to go away, sometimes having to do it several times. However, there are also reports of this not working, no matter how many times it is tried. So, unfortunately, there is a chance that some Game Pass players are going to be stuck with single-player untilthis issue is resolved.
