Silent Hill 2is a beloved action-horror game series known for its chilling storytelling experiences and horror sequences. It was developed in 2001 but Konami is bringing back the franchise with a remake. This time, the developers are going to be the Bloober Team, also known for their horror games.

In an interview, Bloober Team’s Head Kacper Michalski, shared his thoughts about the process of reviving the classic horror title. Michalski said the studio was honored and excited that Konami gave them the opportunity to remakeSilent Hill 2.

Konami bestowed great honor upon us by granting us the privilege to remake Silent Hill 2, one of the most important horror games of all time. Such a distinction speaks for itself and proves that our studio breathes horror.

Bloober Team is very determined to prove that they candeliver a remake that honors the original title while also pushing the boundaries of horror gaming with modern technology. Michalski said:
