But before getting the Marvel role, Larson lost a really big franchise that could have been an amazing achievement in her acting portfolio. The franchise is none other than the 2007 hot sitcom,The Big Bang Theory. But it’s not the only giant name she didn’t get to feature in. She could have become a leading woman in other big-name franchises.

Brie Larson Missed Out on Major Blockbusters Before Marvel Franchise
Brie Larsonwas a top contender for the role of Sarah Connor inTerminator.But the role eventually went toGame of Thronesstar Emilia Clarke because the film’s directors weren’t sure if“she could carry a gun.”The Marvel actress also confirmed that she auditioned for all the newStar Warsmovies. Larson said on her YouTube channel,Larson:
“I didn’t get Gossip Girl, and I’m really glad. I auditioned for Hunger Games and I didn’t get it. I auditioned for Tomorrowland and I didn’t get it. I auditioned for all of the new Star Wars movies and I didn’t get it. I don’t even know why I’m saying I didn’t get it. Like, you know I didn’t.”

These franchises are worth more than $15.78B, which would have also given Larson an enormous amount of fortune. Despite all this, she has no regrets and is truly open about her failures.
The star also acknowledged,“Being an actor is hard, auditioning is hard and it can bring up a lot of emotions because you’re dealing with rejection constantly every day.”She supported the actors saying,“I feel you.”The United States native dwells on the fact that“those who think being an actor is just fluffy and easy, you’re wrong.”It’s great to see that the 34-year-old has been so honest about her past failed auditions.

Why Brie Larson Didn’t Feature inBig Bang Theory
Earlier, whenThe Big Bang Theorywas just starting out, it wasn’t as famous as it is today. At that time, the script underwent many challenges, and various auditions took place.
Some cast members thought that the show wasn’t even going to start at all after seeing all the constant creative changes. Although it’s not clear for which role she tried, she did a screen test but couldn’t secure it due to her age. As theUnicorn Storeactress revealed in the same YouTube video:

“I tested for The Big Bang Theory, I remembered that this morning. They were really sweet, they just said I was too young; it’s true.”
