Good news: the development team at Krafton are interested in putting InZOI on theNintendo Switch 2!
Bad news: the development team at Krafton may not be able to put InZOI on Nintendo Switch 2.

Why? Well, they’re looking into it, but they’ve got fears that the Nintendo Switch 2 will inherit one of the problems of its predecessors. And if it does, then this upstartSimscompetitor may not get to seeNintendo’s world.
It’s no secret that the old Nintendo Switch didn’t have quite the same hardware as other game consoles. Things would often need to be downscaled or optimized to run properly on Nintendo’s console, and it proved troublesomefor a time.

Nintendo Switch 2 Expected To Be The Biggest Console Launch Of All Time
Big news for Nintendo’s wallet, but will you actually be able to get one?
It’s currently rumored that the Nintendo Switch 2 will have better hardware - much better, in fact - but at this stage, it’s all rumors. And though many rumors about the Switch 2 turned out to be correct, planning business decisions around rumors can be tough.

Krafton already intends to bring their game to PlayStation and Xbox fans, and a Nintendo port would complete the multi-platform look they’re aiming for. But hardware is always a big ‘if’.
“We are preparing to bring inZOI to various platforms,” says InZOI director Hyungjun Kim in an interview withVideogamer, “and if optimization for the Switch 2 is feasible based on its performance, we see it as a great opportunity to connect with even more players.”

Given that inZOI currently requires relatively high specs, it would likely be difficult to run the game on the Switch as-is.
The rumored hardware for the Nintendo Switch 2 may be exactly what InZOI needs to run properly (thanks,Gameranx), but at this stage we just don’t know for sure.
That piece of information is something the InZOI team will likely find out at the same time as everyone else. And even then, there’s still no guarantees - they still need to try and actually build the thing. It might not work out.
So until Krafton gets more information, the possibility of a Nintendo Switch 2 port is up in the air, in spite of the director’s desires. Because if the system physically can’t run the game, then yeah, it’s a bit of a showstopper.
Good Omens On The Horizon For InZOI’s Possible Nintendo Switch 2 Port
One clue may give people an early look at whether InZOI can run on the Nintendo Switch 2 - and it’s a trick that’s been used many times before. Simply stand on the shoulders of giants.
As we learn more about the Switch 2 in the time leading up to its release, we’ll learn of more and more games coming to the platform. Keep an eye on ports - because they will eventually be there, and they’re pretty solid indicators.
InZOI Director Weighs In On AI Use & Sims Comparisons - “It’s A Lot Of Pressure”
Director Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim discusses InZOI’s use of AI, and how Sims comparisons affect the team.
If InZOI is up in the air, but other games that have similar hardware requirements can get in, then we can infer how things will land.
As of now, Nintendo’s list ofgames available for the Switch 2doesn’t offer much, but the outlook seems alright. The Duskbloods is FromSoftware’s latest project, and if they’re looking to outshine Elden Ring, they may try something as hardware-intensive - or better.
But as with many Switch 2 topics right now, more data is needed. Keep an ear open - data will come, and hearing news like that will likely be a lot easier than buying the console yourself.
