The report also mentioned that the filming location is going to be in and around Belfast, Northern Ireland.The official synopsis of the new show is as follows viaDeadline,

The Hedge Knightis the First Park of Three Books!
Martin has written three books in theTales of Dunk and Eggseries,The Hedge Knight(1998),The Sworn Sword(2003), andThe Mystery Knight (2010). In 2015, they were collected and published asA Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.The new series will follow the events of the first novel, however, it might make slight changes to the source to retain the excitement among fans.

Whereas, HBO Max has also announced some of the crew attached to this project. Ira Parker, who was the co-executive producer ofHouse of the DragonSeason 1 is on board for the new show. Whereas, veteran producers, Ryan Condal and Vince Gerardis, who overlooked bothGoTandHOT DSeason 1, are returning for this project. Show creator, Martin is also attached as a writer and an executive producer forThe Hedge Knight.
It is surely great news for fans as they await the second season of the popularHOT D. Initially,Redaian Intelligencereported that the show has begun reshooting battle scenes in the UK which is expected to stretch until March 13.

The report mentioned,
“This could very well mean the Battle at Rook’s Rest, which was originally shot over two weeks back in August 2023 in Bourne Woods, primarily. To be clear, battle scenes are likely not the only thing they aim to reshoot, but we now know they are one of those things.”

However, it is unlikely to affect its release date which is slated for a summer release. Currently, one can watch theGame of ThronesandHouse of the DragonSeason Season 1 on HBO.
