According to reliable industry insider and journalist,Jeff Grubb, marketing forRespawn Entertainment’sStar Wars Jedi: Survivorwill begin in December. After being announced at the beginning of this year, details on the sequel have been few and far between, and with Jedi: Survivor rumored to be launching in March of next year, we’re all eager for new details.
During arecent episode of Game Mess Mornings, Grubb said that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is “still on track for that March release date”. He goes on to point out how it’s now less than five months away until the rumored launch, but we’ve had very few details on the sequel. Grubb then says that Respawn Entertainment and EA have “a plan”.
“They’re going to start talking about it in December, and go right into the release. There’s no issue with the game right now. That was just always the plan, a pretty short window of when they’re going to promote [Star Wars Jedi: Survivor]”, Grubb expressed.

Alongside the development of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Respawn Entertainment is also working on multiple other projects within the Star Wars universe. “Game Director Stig Asmussen and his team at the studio are already working on the next game in the action adventureStar WarsJedi series”, ablog postby EA stated back in January of this year.
The post then went on to state that a new Star Wars first-person shooter game was also in development, with development being led by Peter Hirschmann, Game Director at Respawn Entertainment, who reportedly has a “long and accomplished history” with the Star Wars franchise. A third title is also in the works, which will be a Star Wars strategy game developed through a production collaboration with the newly formed studio Bit Reactor, helmed by games industry veteran Greg Foerstch.
The first of the three games to release will be Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which is scheduled to launch forPlayStation5,XboxSeries X|S, and PC sometime in 2023. Rumors suggest that the studio is aiming for a March release window.
