There’s not a lot of information about the game out there, but an old interview from 2022 involving Keiichiro, Junya, and Kazunobu gives us a good glimpse into what we can expect.
The inspiration for the game comes from a combination of Hong Kong and the team’s past worth withForbidden Siren, with the new title serving as a reinterpretation of the previous game’s concepts.

Others joke aboutSilent Hill 2being an action game after the recent trailer, but it looks like Bokeh genuinely integrated action-combat into its new game as a way of appealing to a larger player base.

The game won’t appeal to only horror fans but also to those who normally don’t engage with it. Rather than a pure horror title, it expresses horror within other genres.
That being said, Keiichiro clarifies that the concept doesn’t solely revolve around killing enemies; there’s more to the game than that, which you’ll find out when the game eventually realizes. Here’s to hoping there’s a release date dropped at the Summer Game Fest.
