Kevin Spacey Cleared of Nine Serious Charges
American BeautystarKevin Spaceywas charged with nine sxual assault offenses as he was accused of sxually assaulting four men following the wave of the #MeToo movement. To his relief, the Southwark Crown Court found him not guilty after a four-week trial.
“I imagine that many of you’re able to understand that there’s a lot for me to process after what has just happened today. But I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts, carefully, before they reached their decision. And I am humbled by the outcome today,”Spacey said after he was cleared of London’s one of the most high-profile cases (viaThe Guardian).
The actor went on to add,“I also want to thank the staff inside this courthouse, the security, and all those who took care of us every single day, my legal team … for being here every day.”However, as the charges surfaced, his well-decorated career faced a huge blow, and Netflix fired the two-time Oscar winner amid the accusations.

Kevin Spacey Opened Up About Netflix Firing Him
As Spacey was cleared of the charges, the 64-year-old star is on a fast track to rebuild his career. Certainly, the actor believes people will forget the mishap and celebrate his glorious career with wonderful titles.“Well that’s really a decision for the people Tucker it’s not something that I really think about or want to do,”Spacey said of his return to the screen and his political career while appearing in an episode ofBeing Frank With Tucker. But speaking of Netflix’s dismissal, the actor said:
“You know what? That is boom boom. So, it is bizarre that they decided to publicly cut ties with me on allegations alone. Allegations that have now been proven false because I don’t think there’s any question, Netflix exists because of me I put them on the map and they tried to put me in the ground.”
When Tucker asked the actor about his leadership influence on Netflix, Spacey was not hesitant to reply,“Well according to your research, my influence is felt every time every customer opens the app I’d say that’s pretty powerful.”Certainly, the actor is all set to make his return as he stated that he will play whatever role the public wants him to play.
