Chris Hemsworth Acted In A Colossal Failure Movie For An Unexpected Reason

While speaking toRadio Times,Chris Hemsworthstated, “Oh yeah, for sure,” when asked if he considers himself a feminist. He attributed his views on respect for women to his mother, who is a big feminist, and noted that his father also holds balanced and respectful views. In discussing his film,The Huntsman: Winter’s War, Hemsworth expressed that the “badass female characters” played by Jessica Chastain, Emily Blunt, and Charlize Theron were a significant reason for his interest in the sequel.

Hemsworth acknowledged the historical imbalance in the portrayal of male and female characters, especially in the superhero genre, and emphasized the importance of achieving equality.

”I think we just had too much fun. It just became too silly,” Hemsworth said about the movie. “It’s always hard being in the center of it and having any real perspective…I love the process, it’s always a ride. But you just don’t know how people are going to respond.
