What Happened Previously On My Hero Academia?
At the Counter-Force HQ, the report arrived: Shoto’s victory over Dabi’s fiery rampage and Himiko’s defeat. The Twice Doubles, causing chaos at the U.A., started to fade, leaving the campus lighter. Meanwhile, All For One closed in on Tomura and Deku, who had been locked in a tense battle since Deku leaped from U.A. With a dose of the Rewind Drug in his veins, All For One’s aim was clear: to empower Tomura even further by passing on his own formidable Quirk.
All Might made an attempt to get All For One’s attention, but the villain used Tomura to activate his Warping Quirk while dodging Deku. Unexpectedly, Tomura struggled and consumed the substance while pleading with his Master to avoid it. Realizing Tomura’s power, All For One grinned and prepared to act.
While this was going on, the students in U.A.’s Business Course saw All For One coming towards the battered All Might, taunting him, gripping him by the leg, and demanding that he take responsibility for their crushed ambitions. Tomura diverted Deku in an effort to get back to the U.A. and exact revenge.
Deku struggled to hold back tears as he observed the defenseless All Might and vowed to be the best apprentice. He cried out to his tutor as he detected the dwindling remnant of All Might within One For All. Deku, meanwhile, personified everlasting determination and dreams, so All Might acknowledged his heroism even in the absence of a Quirk.
When All Might captured All For One, a memory of Nana Shimura’s sacrifice was brought to mind. As Nana foresaw, All Might was prepared to face his adversary, even if it meant losing their lives, and he hilariously wondered if dying would make him revert back into a kindergartener.
