With an incredibly headstrong personality and a stronger talent for sword fighting, Eris is one of the main characters driving Rudeus on his journey in the fantasy world ofMushoku Tensei. Though she is inconsequential at first, the two children quickly grow to like one another after Eris' tenth birthday, and then later, after the Teleport incident, where they both get teleported to the demon continent.

Theending of the first seasonleft fans with many questions about the main female lead. She left Rudeus right after the first time they properly got together, leading Rudeus traumatized. Because of this incident, he develops erectile dysfunction and starts to fear the affection of women and their judgment.
Appearance
Eris is the only member of Rudeus' harem who has a large chest. She sports bright red hair that has the same red shade as her eyes and stands at a respectable 170 cm.
Earlier in the anime, she wears a knee-length skirt with a cute shirt to go along with it but swaps it out for more practical wear during the later parts of the show. Now she wears a pair of brown breeches and a white shirt with some black accents to give it some recognizability.
Personality
Eris initially encounters Rudeus, who is younger than her, when he comes from his village to teach her magic. Initially, she harbors ill intent towards the young child and refuses to learn from him, but after he saves her from a band of criminals that try to kidnap the two (part of the kidnapping was orchestrated, but it ended up becoming a real kidnapping by the end of it), she accepts the need to learn from him. Though she never got better than Rudeus in magic, she is much better than him at sword fighting.

After the Teleport Incident, Eris and Rudeus get transported to the same location in the Demon Continent and team up with Ruijard to form an adventuring team. The three adventurers go on many adventures together, even going upagainst the Dragon God Orsted, though they lose badly. During this time period, Eris learns to sense mana and trains with Ruijard to become stronger.
Why Did Eris Leave?
When the two reach their hometown, Eris finds out that her family was killed, leaving her in a depressed state. She confesses to Rudeus, consummates her love for him, and then decides that the best course of action would be to leave without saying anything to the man she had her first time with.
Her justification is that she needs to get stronger to protect Rudeus and become her own person, which is admirable. However, not telling him about it at all and leaving without a word isn’t quite as admirable. This directly results in Rudeus developing a fear of women and getting erectile dysfunction.
