Players have created everything froma massive virtual librarytofull-scale recreations of Westeros, but this time, Redditor minoan8128 took to the game’s note blocks for inspiration.

With what must be hundreds of note blocks, minoan8128 played the entirety ofPortal’s “Still Alive.” The acclaimed song was originally written by Jonathan Coulton and sung by Ellen McLain as the infamous GLaDOS. Most importantly, “Still Alive” was the game’s end credits theme, providing a bit of additional character to the murderous robot.
Firstly, the video takes the viewer on a minecart ride through the song. An intricate Redstone set-up hits the blocks in time, playing the song’s full chords, percussion, and melody at once. It’s fun, it’s nostalgic, and it’s an impressive feat of musical engineering.
