As you slowly creep towards the final dungeon and ready yourself for the decisive battle against Louis, you can take on the last set of Bounties available inMetaphor: Refantazio, and of them being on Ordemos, Grudge’s Fang.
Specifically, you canchase this bounty from 9/26 onwardsafter selecting it from the Recruitment Center which is called theIncarnate in the Woods,a fitting name for the wrathful foe we’re about to face, which can pulverize you if you’re not careful.

And if you’re planning to reap the bounty rewards, then you’ve come to the right place as I’ll walk you through the Abandoned Path dungeon, its enemies, and items, plus give you a detailed strategy on how to beat Ordemos to an absolute pulp.

Navigating The Abandoned Path
The Abandoned Path is a forest-like dungeon with widespread areas, and if you want to lure out Ordemos to battle, you’ll need to beatthree of the four marked Rigopetia enemies.
If you’ve reachedRank 7 with Catherina’s Bond, she can join you in this dungeon, lending you her powerful assistance during battles, even possibly in the boss fight.

But for your convenience, I’ve detailed all the enemies in this dungeon below with their corresponding weaknesses so you may take them out with ease:
Resistance/Immunity
Spekto of Fury
Ice, Light
Pierce, Wind, Dark
Leginovesp
Pierce, Wind
Most of these enemies arepretty trash fodder, and you might be slightly over-leveled to one-hit KO themwithout engaging in battle.
But since I’ve now discussed the enemies, let’s go over the dungeon itself, which is pretty simple because it’s not technically a dungeon but a large overworld map.

I’ve marked every single collectible item in thefollowing highlighted numbers in the image above. You can grab them in any order you wish, but here are the following items in question with their corresponding number:
Once you’ve collected all the items, make sure you’ve saved your game before taking out three of the marked Rigopetias on the map.

Because once you defeat the third one, this will initiate the boss fight against Ordemos, so before that, let’s go over our battle prep against it.
How To Prepare Against Ordemos
Ordemos is a level 63 Giant-type enemy who is weak to Dark, resists all types of physical damage, and repels lightning. And with access to strong physical skills, he can demolish your health if you’re not careful in your strategic approach.
Ordemos tends to inflict Daze amidst his attacks, so make sure you have a skill like Patra or equipment that nullifies the effects of this status ailment on a couple of party members.
The following are theparty membersI used for this fightwith their Archetypes, along with which I’ve mentioned some further details on each member’s kit in the notes section:
Party Members
Archetypes
Protagonist
Void Wave skill from the Soul Hacker Archetype is great for lowering Ordemos' attack and dealing damage.
Hulkenberg
Dark Knight/Paladin
The tank role of the team. Holy Knight’s Proclamation and Shelter Formation from theGeneral Archetypeare all viable skills to have here to boost her viability.
Persona Master
The one-time weakness inflicting skills like Dance of Verdure can be synergized with the Protagonist’s Void Wave. Inherit healing skills from the Cleric Archetype to make her a Support.
Dark Skills to expose Ordemos' weakness. The Adamant Nightblade skill is excellent at applying debuff plus exploiting weakness.
With the Party setup out of the way, here are a few additional pointers you may be mindful of before beginning the fight:

How To Defeat Ordemos
As I pointed out earlier, if you’ve got Catherina to spawn here, that’s great. She may bite a massive chunk of Ordemos’s HP to make our work on him a breeze, but if not, that’s fine, too.
You’ll most likely have Heismay as the first turn when the fight begins due to his high Agility stat. It is strongly advised that you castAdamant Nightblade here to decrease Ordemos' rate/evasion and to target his weakness to Dark.
Continue to cast it until youhit three stacks of this debuffon him; after that, you can safely use Heismay’s other Dark skills on his Ninja Archetype. If you’re feeling brave like I was,you can also inherit Rakundabeforehand and cast it on him to decrease his defense.
With Hulkenberg, you’ll be juggling between her Shelter Formation skill to boost everyone’s defense and use Holy Knight’s Proclamationto tank hits from Ordemos while occasionally damaging using any inherited elemental skills.
Now, here comes theneat trick with Junah and the Protagonist.Junah has access to a variety of one-time weakness-applying skills in herMasked Dancer/Persona Master Archetypeand Dance of Verdure, which goes extremely well here.
Not only will we be able to use the Protagonist’s Void Wave from the Soul Hacker Archetype to lower Ordemos’s attack stat, but it will also expose the Wind weakness we applied using Junah.
Continue to use this strategy andprioritize healing whenever your party members' health falls below 50%to avoid unnecessary KOs. If you’ve got everyone consistently defense buffed via Shelter Formation, you shouldn’t get damaged too much.
For overcoming Ordemos, Grudge’s Fang, you’ll receive the following rewards post-battle, including the “Incarnate in the Woods” bounty rewards after turning it in at the Recruitment Center via the Bloodstained Talon:
