Sage Mode is one of the coolest yet iconic abilities in Masashi Kishimoto’s series. While the anime showcased Dojutsu as an unparalleled ability, there were several counterjutsu for it. Not that Senjutsu is a proxy of some sort.

However, it could rival Dojutsu in more ways than one, especially with Hashirama Senju’s Sage Mode. But there is a latent ability that Kishimoto has yet to unfurl in his manga.
The current timeline ofBoruto: Two Blue VortexhasNarutostuck in a dimension along with his wife Hinata. While the Seventh Hokage’s status is unknown, one thing is certain.

His abilities and the true extent of Senjutsu are kept under wraps for a bigger reason. But most importantly, a theory suggests that the Hokage has yet to tap into precognition. This somewhat parallels the Observation Haki in Eiichiro Oda’s seriesOne Piece.
Masashi Kishimoto might giveNarutoa much-needed power-up
Sage Jutsu or Senjutsu is one of the most powerful abilities inMasashi Kishimoto’sseries. While Dojutsu is labeled as one of the undisputed jutsu, senjutsu is on par with visual prowess in many aspects.
In terms of chakra usage, the wielder of Dojutsu is often weakened by its long-term usage. In this case, Senjutsu has the upper hand with the user’s harnessing of natural chakra as opposed to physical chakra. Apart from Jiraiya, there are very few characters who truly mastered this transformation.

Narutois one of them along with Hashirama Senju, Kabuto Yakushi, Minato Namikaze, and the Great Sannin, Jiraiya. Unlike Kekkei Genkai, Senjutsu’s cons lie in the years it takes one to perfect it.
The hero is an exception to this with his learning of the ability in under a week. Not only that, but he is remarkable in perfecting it within a short period with impressive chakra control. There is, however, an ability that the hero is yet to tap into that Kishimoto might be hiding.

With Kashin Koji’s Senjutsu prowess inBoruto, Kishimoto might be hiding a latent ability associated with the hero’s Sage Mode transformation. This majorly has to do with the precognition andPrescience Shinjutsu. To put it simply, it parallels the Observation Haki in its ability to foresee future events.
Kashin Koji’s precognition parallels Observation Haki
Of all the clones in theBoruto, Kashin Koji caused a stir among fans with his introduction. Created by Amado Sanzu, the character is a rather modified and unparalleled version of Jiraiya. Like the Sannin, Kishimoto based the character on afictional figurefrom the 1300s.
Fortunately, the Sage doesn’t retain the Sannin’s perverseness. But what truly sets him apart is his precognition abilities, which play a pivotal role in the sequel series. His Prescience Shinjutsu parallels Observation Haki in more ways than one.

In Eiichiro Oda’s universe, Haki is one of the most formidable abilities. LikeSage Mode, it takes years for a pirate to master Haki. Unlike Naruto, Luffy took 2 years to master Haki with the mentorship of Rayleigh Silvers. Observation Haki is one of the three formidable abilities that the Strawhat Captain masters.
The ability allows a user to witness future events along with a heightened perception. Somewhat similar to the Senjutsu, both abilities have similitude. And while Kashin Koji and Gamamaru have precognition abilities, one thing is certain.
Naruto: It’s an Absolute Shame Kishimoto Didn’t Expand on the Best ‘Kage’ Who Was Way Better Than Every Hokage
Narutomight tap into this broken ability in the future. That is if he breaks free from Kawaki’s dimension. As of now, the character’s fate is unknown. But we know that the hero getting a power-up of this level would be nothing short of iconic.
NarutoandOne Pieceare available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Both manga are available for reading on Viz Media.
