Evo Las Vegas 2025 will run from August 1-3.

Not only will there be a developer panel focused on the game from Arc System Works and Marvel Games at 8pm on that Friday, which will be livestreamed, but there will be a playable demo for attendees at the Arc System Works booth as well.

The First Hands-On Playable Demo

The Evo demo for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will feature six playable characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Star Lord, Doctor Doom, Ms. Marvel, and Storm.

This is not the full revealed roster so far, sincethe initial reveal traileralso included Ghost Rider and Spider-Man, but presumably they aren’t ready to be shown off to the public yet.

The blog post also gives us our first look at the character select screen, with its four character slots per player labeled “Leader,” “Shooter,” “Vertical,” and “Assault,” which players have been speculating indicates which assist move each one will get.

That would mean, instead of each character having directly selectable assist moves or simply having multiple to choose from in-game, they will instead be based on their position in the team.

No, Marvel Tokon Isn’t Burying Guilty Gear Strive, According To Arc

Arc System Works has something “big” planned for Strive.

In addition to the character select screen, the post also shows off the stage select and the in-game UI, which only features a single health bar per team, with none obviously present for any of the three non-active characters on each side.

For now, though, we can only speculate about the game’s core mechanics, which will be properly discussed during the developer panel at Evo.

Hopefully there will besome character reveals as well, but for now, there’s no shortage ofspeculation about the game’s potential roster.

It’s a big time for fans of tag team fighting games, withthe recent Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact,Riot’s 2XKO coming later this year, and fellowsuperhero-themed tag team fighter Invincible VS, also set to release next year.

All three games will be featured at Evo Las Vegas alongside Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
