For those who played and finishedMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, and worried the next game in the franchise would feature only Miles Morales as the game’s lone Spider-Man, you’ll be happy to know that won’t be the case.
Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor behind Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the game confirmed that the original Spider-Man will be back in the third chapter of Insomniac Games' multi-million selling superhero franchise.

Peter Parker Won’t Be Stuck On The Sidelines In Spider-Man 3
Spoiler Warning: If you’ve yet to finish Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, I suggest skipping this part, as it talks about the ending a bit.
Speaking toThe Direct, Lowenthal was asked about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 ending where Peter Parker seems to have retired for the time being, and has given the responsibility of being Spider-Man to Miles Morales. This was to put his personal life as the priority, to not only spend time with Mary Jane, but also to help build the Emily-May Foundation.

Lowenthal confirmed that while he can’t say a lot about the game, he can confirmed we’ll be seeing Peter Parker in action.
“There are very few things that I can say about this game, but you have somehow landed on the one thing that I can answer, and that’s that, yes, Peter is not gone. He will be a part of the next game and he won’t be relegated to the couch, I promise,” Lowenthal shared.

This is the first time anyone directly involved in making the game has confirmed that Peter Parker will play a key role in the third chapter.

An incredible PS5 controller detail has been found featuring Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
This is good news for most, as a lot of people associate Spider-Man with Peter Parker. Does this mean we’ll be playing both Miles Morales and Peter Parker in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3? That might be the case, or the central character we’ll play will be Miles, with Peter popping in from time to time.

There are a lot of questions left unanswered after Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Unfortunately, we’ll be waiting for quite a while to see the third game in the series. Not only has Insomniac not announced the game yet, but the studio is hard at work on Marvel’s Wolverine, which we’ve yet to hear from again after itsinitial announcement.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was just released on PC last month, and while it features the same tight gameplay and intense combat, it was plagued bytechnical issues at launch, which is beingremedied by updates.
