Mackie made his debut in the MCU as Falcon, and the upcoming film is his first solo movie. This year’s Comic-Con saw the actor respond to a comment by hisCaptain America: Civil Warco-star Tom Holland, who said that Falcon did not have a solo film yet. While Mackie may be headlining the new film, fans pointed out how Falcon still does not have a solo film.

With the actor headlining the upcomingCaptain America: Brave New World, Anthony Mackie finally got to have his solo film. The actor also responded to Holland’s six-year-old insult on stage at this year’s Comic-Con and said (viaIGN),

He said I didn’t have a movie. I said, ‘Well, you’re not 5’11”’. I got a movie, you’re not gonna be 5’11” though! Yes, Tom Holland, f*ck you!
The actor also mentioned that he would be sitting next to Holland at the premiere to make sure he sees the film.
