As you progress through the story ofLike A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Kiryu will get roped intohelping Akameexpand her spy network by helping the people of Sotenbori in everyday, mundane tasks that don’t require much effort. These are called Stroll n’ Patrol missions, indicated by a white exclamation point on the map.

Among the Stroll n’ Patrol requests arecertain missionsthat leave the player confused about what to do and where to go to complete it. The ‘Turn That Frown Upside Down, Clown’ mission is one of the trickier ones. The goal is to find somewhere to put Clown Makeup on Kiryu, but it’s unclear where to find it.

How To Start ‘Turn That Frown Upside Down, Clown’

Directly across from Club SEGA Sotenboriand sandwiched between Osaka King and Kani Douraku on Sotenbori Street, you’ll find acrying childaccompanied by his two parents on the side of the road. Talking to the family will reveal that the Child was hoping to see a Clown, but the family couldn’t manage it. To make up for it, it’d be nice if someone could try tocheer up the Child by wearing some Clown Makeupand entertaining him. Kiryu will decide to take up the task.

Clown Makeup Vendor Location

The Clown Makeup can be bought from the Boutiqueat the Castle. It’s on the right of Castle Center Street, just before the staircase leading up to theColiseum. Walk up to theBoutique Clerkand select the Makeup option underChange Outfit. You’ll find the Clown Makeup on sale for the steep price of¥500,000. The Boutique is the only shop in the game where Kiryu can change outfits and alter his look. It only gets unlocked as you progress through the story, reach Chapter 2, and attaintheSilver Crew Rank.

It’s unlikely that you’ll have received the Clown Makeup request before unlocking the Boutique itself, as the Akame Network requests only appear when completing them is possible at that point in the game.

After putting on the Clown Makeup, return to the crying child and talk to him to cheer him up. You’ll be rewarded with¥75,000and600 Akame Network Points.
