At the climax of Chapter 2 inLife Is Strange: Double Exposure,Max receives an alarming text from Moses about his confrontation with Detective Alderman and being the top suspect in Safi’s murder case.
As reassuring as it is to know Max has his side,it turns out Moses does have something: Safi’s camera, only because he wanted to save their one selfie together.

It sounds pretty bad, but let’s be real: we tend to make mistakes like this when we’re emotionally conflicted, but in Moses’s case, he has actual evidence in his office that won’t back up his innocence.
Life Is Strange: Double Exposure: Where To Find A Chimney For Moses
No gingerbread house is complete without that finishing touch.
Thankfully, luck’s on our side since the office is locked from the inside. So it’s up to you to track down Safi’s camera and save Moses from custody until the backup keycard arrives.
Finding the camera isn’t exactly a walk in the park, and you can get stuck in this puzzle section if you don’t follow the clues, so we’ve prepared a step-by-step guide to make this section a breeze.

Enter Moses' Office And Find The Wrench
The first thing to do here is Shift to the Living Timeline, which can be done on theother side of the hallway next to the janitor trolley.
As soon as you enter the office with the lively Moses, try not to get startled as I did with the Hawt Dawg Man decoration on the Christmas tree.

Pick whether hekeeps any contrabandtucked away to progress the section.
He’ll mention an electric kettle, but before you get more details, you’ll first need to help him out with his telescope by bringing him an Allen wrench.
Be sure not to miss the Polaroid collectible in the Dead Timeline on a desk next to the 3D Printer among the various point-and-click interactions in both timelines.

Use the nearby Shift point in the office to head back to theDead Timeline and pick up the wrenchnext to some boxes on the table.
Warp back again, give Moses the wrench, and as he’s explaining the mural he and Safi are working on the wall in his office, he’ll now go over and open a cabinet with a key where he keeps the kettle.

Keep that conversation about his mural in mind as yougrab the key when he’s busy checking the kettleat his workstation; that’s a little clue that’ll help us later.
Use The Key And Solve The ‘Safe’ Puzzle
After obtaining the key, you can talk to Moses to learn more about the significance behind the mural and about his magnificent telescope.
But for now, to keep things going, use Shift, head back to theDead Timeline, and unlock the same cabinet using the keywe just obtained.
Of course, since it’s not that easy, the camera isn’t there, but you finda note with the words “Under ‘Safe’“scribbled on it.
Moses is the only person who would know about it, so again, head back to the Living Timeline and inquire if he knows anything like ‘Safes’ from the new dialogue option.
While he rules out the possibility of owning any locking safes, we learn about’Saiph,' a star belonging to the Orion Constellation.
Here’s the tricky bit:There are quite a few interactions related to stars throughout the office, so if you want to find ‘Saiph’ on your own, that’s fine.
You’ve got glow-in-the-dark star stickers where you can check for the camera, and even the poster of the Orion Constellation is a dead giveaway, but here’s the thing: it’s not there either.
To trace down theSaiph Star, head to theupper deck of the officeusing the stairs andturn on the Star Projector.
This will reveal a constellation mural on the wall, the same one Living Timeline Moses mentioned earlier about him and Safi.
You need to merge the constellation with the mural;the easiest tip here is to pay attention to the stick figures of the Gemini Twins and line them up exactly on their mural,as I’ve demonstrated in the image.
If done correctly, Max can pinpoint Safi’s Camera tucked away in a vent, the exact location where the Saiph star is also marked on the wall via the constellation.

Better than solving a Rubik’s cube, I guess
Distract Detective Alderman And Retrieve Safi’s Camera
As soon as you get down there and move the container pile blocking the vent, Detective Alderman finally unlocks the door; his timing is quite impeccable.
You can’t just swipe the camera with him around so right where you’recrouched and out of sight; use the Shift Pointto warp to the Living Timeline.
you’re able to use Pulse in the Living Timeline to keep track of Detective Alderman’s position in the other timeline.
You need something to distract him,and nothing is better suited for the job than that obnoxious Hawt Dawg Man decoration.
Grab it off the tree, and to actually trigger the sequence of using it,head up to the loft once again and quickly shift back;it should play a scene where Max plants it on the shelf.
I think you know what comes next since we’ve all played tons ofstealth gamesat this point.
Shift back to the Living Timelinefrom the Dead one to avoid Alderman noticing you while heading upstairs.
Head back down, Shift in the corner near the vent again (this is the last time, I promise), and yet again, Max’s efforts get interrupted by the dolly tires squeaking.
However, as with all plot conveniences in these games, you gain anunexpected miracle ability to swap the Dolly with the Living Timeline Moses' Telescope.
Complete theQuick-Time Eventof using it, and while Detective Alderman is baffled, just like Max, at the sight of a Telescope spawning out of thin air, it gives you the perfect opportunity to snag Safi’s camera from the vent.
While that completes the whole section, you also need to make a pivotal decision here: whether tohelp Alderman with more details or refuse.
I personally chose the latter since it lets Moses have a positive impression of our actions later, but ultimately, that’s up to you to choose.
