Referring to the ending ofLogan,The Greatest Showmanstar said (viaCinema Blend):
“It was always floated that Logan would possibly die. Let’s be open, because it may be more powerful for him not to die.”
Jackman had also proposed that instead of getting killed, the film could end with Wolverine walking away. However, he couldn’t convince Mangold to change the ending and ultimately the world witnessed the death of its favorite superhero inLogan.

Fans are aware that Adamantium was constantly poisoning Wolverine’s insides and when Wolverine’s healing system couldn’t keep pace with the poison, it resulted in his death. Now, the question is if Wolverine died inLogan(2017),then how come he will be seen alive inDeadpool 3(2024)?
To begin with, the Wolverine who died inLoganhas not come back to life. Marvel has not made any changes to the perfect ending ofLoganto excite the fans. To reintroduce the character of Wolverine inDeadpool 3,Marvel has pitched another variant of Wolverine from a different timeline.

Given thatDeadpool 3is a multiverse movie, it’s no surprise that the variant of Wolverine sounds logical. There’s no chance that the filmmakers are going to play with the events ofLoganto force the character of Wolverine in the upcoming Marvel movies. The return of Wolverine is just a gift for fans of Marvel’s multiverse concept.
