In a newDev Diary updatefrom Riot Games, Selina “ChooChoo Trainnnn” Liu and Eduardo “Riot Cadmus” Cortejoso revealedLeague of Legendsis getting a brand-new PvE “bullet heaven survivor” game mode.
There wasn’t a lot of information revealed about the upcoming game mode, except that you’ll have the opportunity to fight “hordes of enemies” either alone or with friends. A development screenshot was shared, showing Jinx surrounded by minions, Naafiri packmates and Zed shadows. These models are likely temporary stand-ins.

Bullet Heaven
The mode will be released alongside League of Legends’ upcoming mid-year event. These usually happen around July. This will be the first PvE game mode added to League of Legends since Odyssey: Extraction in late 2018.
“We mentioned we were making something that was a different take on League’s core gameplay, but a bit more chill than arena,” Liu began. “After months of work, it’s time to let you all know we are currently working on our first bullet heaven survivor PvE game mode.”

The Dev Diary also discussed the future of Arena, which is increasing to 16 players, from 8. The addition of a new class of items, Prismatic Items, aims to diversify builds.
Lee Sin is receiving a visual overhaul, with a new model “built from the ground up.” The visual update will be shipped in Patch 14.9 on May 1. Meanwhile, Teemo’s update is scheduled for Patch 14.20.

As for ranked rewards, Victorious Kog’Maw will be rewarded to players who participated in the first split of ranked and Victorious Sona will fulfill this same purpose for split two. If you get all three of the available Victorious Skins, you’ll earn a Victorious Border for each of the skins at the end of the year, tailored to your highest rank over the entire season.
League of Legends is currently on Patch 14.7, a patch that brought with the highly-anticipated Skarner VGU.
