Kaley Cuoco, a skilled equestrian, suffered an unfortunate accident in 2010. After a horse got spooked and accidentally landed on her left leg during a session, the actress had to sign awaiver for a potential leg amputation.

And the news horrified the showrunners ofThe Big Bang Theory, as they feared losing one of the leading stars of the show.“That was the darkest, most frightening time in all 12 years,”Chuck Lorresaid.

Following surgery, doctors warned Cuoco that she would not be able to walk for months. Fortunately, she was able to leave the hospital just two weeks later in a walking boot.
