A newJurassic Worldmovie is in development. And what’s more interesting to hear is that the originalJurassic Parkco-writer David Koepp is back. A new report from The Hollywood Reporter confirms this exciting news. As per the report, the film has a potential 2025 release date.
In 2022,Jurassic World Dominionwas released. However, this movie starring Chris Pratt failed to impress and could not meet its expectations due to the lack of coherent planning and vision. David Koepp, who last wrote 1997’sThe Lost Worldfor the series, is planning for a new Jurassic era, so there won’t be Pratt this time!

As of now, ĺthere are no directors attached to the project, though Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley are set to return as producers.Steven Spielbergwill also be back as an executive producer through Amblin Entertainment.
Apart from penning the Spielberg classicJurassic Park, Koepp wrote the screenplay forIndiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the original 2002Spider-Man, and the firstMission: Impossiblemovie.

No plot details are available yet, but since it’s reported that this new project will be the start of a “new Jurassic era” with an all-new storyline, certainly, it won’t be a direct continuation ofJurassic World Dominion.

Jurassic World Dominionmade more than $1 billion at the global box office in 2022 but got some harsh words from critics at its release. This was the third and final installment of theJurassic Worldtrilogy, and the sixthJurassic Parkfilm overall.
