Last week’s episode ofJujutsu Kiasenwas once again another thrilling installment. We finally saw the anime adaptation of Mahoraga and its high-intensity battle with Sukuna. Well, the creators brought justice to the battle by giving it top-class animation. All those powerful attacks, intense chases, and the destruction of the whole of Shibuya in the process kept us on our toes. Not only was the battle amazing in terms of entertainment, but it was a turning point in the story as well.

As previously said, in terms of Mahoraga, it is the strongest Shikigami of the Ten Shadow Technique and the ultimate attack of the Fushiguro clan. However, the battle we saw previously proved that Sukuna is not someone with whom even Mahoraga can toy with. Despite his major attacks being adopted by the Shikigami, Sukuna planned the whole thing out and defeated Mahoraga with the mysterious fire ability he used against Jogo.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 Release Date And Time
Since the publication of this article, it has been confirmed that the next episode of Jujutsu Kaisen has been delayed by 17 ½ hours (via@animejujutsu). For viewers based in Japan, this now means the release date for episode 18 isFriday, November 24th at 6 PM JST.At the time of writing, the international release time for Crunchyroll is unconfirmed due to the delay. We have updated this article with the Japanese release time, and have reached out to Crunchyroll for further clarification on the new international release time.
Episode 18 of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is scheduled to premiere onFriday, November 24th at 6 PM JST.It will air on MBS and TBS in Japan, whileCrunchyrollwill release it for international viewers at a later date.Netflixwill also stream the episode in select regions of Asia.
What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?
The episode kicks off with a flashback to Yuji Itadori’s dying grandfather, emphasizing Yuji’s pledge to aid others. The focus shifts to Megumi, severely injured after his battle with Toji and Shigemo. Provoked by Shigemo and not finding any way out of the situation, Megumi summons a new shikigami, drawing Shigemo into the risky ritual. A perilous situation arises as the new Shigami would not only kill Shigemo but also Megumi. However, Sukuna intervenes and saves Megumi and Shigemo from imminent danger.
Finally, the intense clash between Sukuna and Mahoraga starts, wreaking havoc across the city with their deadly attacks. Sukuna continues to overpower the Shikigami, but the latter continues to battle, healing its injuries instantly given by Sukuna’s Dismantle and Cleave attacks. Moreover, Mahoraga even adapted itself to Sukuna’s attacks as its wheel rotated. The battle became more intense and reached its peak when Sukuna deployed his Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine. While obliterating Mahoraga with countless slash attacks, Sukuna deploys his mysterious fire attack, finishing Mahoraga once and for all.
Shigemo, feeling lucky to escape his death, runs happily, only to be slashed by Sukuna. After the battle is over, Yuji regains control over his body but feels numb and devastated by the chaos caused by Sukuna using him as a vessel. Recalling all those memories of deaths and destruction, Yuji resolves to fight on, motivated to prove his worth.
