Gege Akutami’s magnum opus has become the most talked-about anime series of the year due to its impeccable storyline, which keeps the audience getting increasingly intrigued with each passing episode. Season 2 of the series, which Mappa animated, just concluded.
Jujutsu Kaisenseason 2 aired its final episode and concluded the hellish journey, which involved numerous deaths and farewells to many fan favorites. The episode’s opening theme changed relatively according to the story’s progression, which was a well-planned move that fans loved and appreciated.

Jujutsu Kaisenseason 2 opening had several changes
Jujutsu Kaisenseason 2 was arguably the most anticipated anime of the year, with each episode consecutively improving quality.
Season two was packed with action, which included Gojo getting sealed, Sukuna’s rampage in Shibuya, and the appearance of the most-awaited character, Yuta.
One of the season’s highlights was the opening theme, by King Gnu, titled Specialz, which was an instant hit among the audience.
It might have been just another opening for the anime’s only viewers, but it had numerous foreshadowings about what would come next.
It included hints of Toji’s resurrection, Nobara’s death, and the destruction of Shibuya, which were all shown in the episode’s opening.
However, the members at Mappa outdid themselves and changed the opening according to the schedule.
Towards the end of the season, the opening changed and added new scenes, such as Yuta’s appearance and the long-awaited dual between Mahito and Itadori. Even manga readers couldn’t predict, as the opening is entirely anime original.
