What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?
The previous chapter started with Gojo’s neck being slashed by Sukuna. The attack concerned everyone; however, Gojo healed himself instantly using Reversed Cursed Technique. Higuruma stated that as long as Gojo stayed inside Sukuna’s Domain, the slash attacks would continue to inflict him.
Choso commented that Sukuna had an open Domain, which Gojo could get away from whenever he wanted to. Hakari stated that even if Sukuna’s Domain covered the whole of Shibuya, Gojo could still manage to evade it. Kusakabe further added that as Gojo’s Domain was destroyed, he could not use his Cursed Technique.
Sukuna ruthlessly slashed Gojo, laughing and preventing him from escaping. Gojo asserted his dominance in Cursed Technique, despite his battered and bloodied state. The injuries were evident, with cuts and blood covering his body. Sukuna’s relentless attacks persisted while he commended Gojo for keeping up with his powers. On the other hand, Gojo continued to utilize Reverse Cursed Technique to survive.
Amidst the chaos, Gojo deduced that Malevolent Shrine served as the epicenter of Sukuna’s Domain. Yuji wore a worried expression as he questioned the consequences if the shrine were to be destroyed. Kusakabe and Mei Mei responded, suggesting that the animated elements within the inner Domain might not even exist. They added that Gojo, who refrained from attempting its destruction, implied it would be futile.
To everyone’s astonishment, Gojo activated New Shadow Style: Simple Domain, leaving Yuji puzzled about how Gojo achieved such a feat. Kusakabe explained that Gojo possessed the ability to use it but deemed himself unsuitable to teach it to others. The question of how Gojo managed to utilize Simple Domain while simultaneously healing himself with Reversed Cursed Technique puzzled Kusakabe. In response, Choso explained that this combination resulted in a reduced output of Gojo’s Simple Domain, rendering it capable of only buying him some time.
Gojo healed himself once more, and Sukuna slashed his face once again. However, Gojo chose not to heal himself this time, instead activating his Simple Domain to evade further damage. Ino commented on the taxing nature of Gojo’s actions, noting that although he didn’t seem to run out of Cursed Energy, the continuous use of Reversed Cursed Technique after employing the Domain must have been incredibly exhausting for him.
Suddenly, the scene shifted, revealing Gojo trapping Sukuna. Yuta comprehended that Gojo opted not to heal himself but instead utilized RCT to restore his Cursed Technique. Unleashing his Reversed Cursed Technique: Red, Gojo unleashed a powerful blast, sending Sukuna flying and crashing through his shrine, and he proceeded to heal himself once again.
