Risotto Nero will be the first DLC character coming toJojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Star R, Bandai Namco has confirmed via a special program dedicated to the anime-fighting game, which is streamed on Warner Bros' YouTube channel.

Risotto Nero is one of the fan-favorite characters from the fifth part of the series, Golden Wind, making his way to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle R as a playable character to show off his outstanding combat skills. Although a specific release date for Risotto has not yet been provided, he will likely appear in the game this fall, according toNintendo eShop’s release dates. It is worth stating that Risotto Nero will be a DLC character as part of the season pass, which includes cosmetics for Rohan Kishibe and Muhammed Avdol.

If you are unfamiliar with all eight parts of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Risotto Nero is an antagonist in the fifth part, which is titled Vento Auro. He can control metal within and around him thanks to his Metallica ability, making him one of the franchise’s strongest characters. This ability also allows Risotto to kill his foes from a distance. To give a more-specific comparison of the extent and abilities of his power set, Risotto seems to be at least as powerful as Magneto from Marvel’s X-Men franchise.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Star R Season Pass is currently available for $19.99.In addition to the base game, players who purchase the season pass will receive a pair of DLC packs that are expected to launch later this year. Aside from Risotto, several screenshots released byBandai Namcoconfirm that three more characters will be included in the DLC. The publisher says more information about Risotto and other characters will be released soon.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Star R is a remastered version of the PlayStation 3 release, featuring fifty characters from the franchise. The anime-fighting game is now available to play on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam.
