He’ll be bringing the laughs alongside the musical guest, Reneé Rapp, who’s also the star of the newMean Girlsreboot. Yesterday, he was seen flexing his comedic chops in a newly releasedSNLpromo.

Jacob Elordi’s HilariousSNLPromo Shows His Comedic Skills
The latestSaturday Night Livepromo dropped on Jan. 17. In this short, hilarious 55-second clip, Jacob Elordi is looking genuinely scared of the steps leading to the iconicSNLstage. Elordi has the jitters, nervously standing at the top of the three-step staircase at Studio 8H as he admits,“They all make it look so easy.”
That’s whenSNLcast members Punkie Johnson and Marcello Hernandez step in to give the anxious host-to-be some much-needed encouragement.“Are you kidding me? You got this, bro. Let’s go, come on. It’s just a step,”they say, giving the 26-year-old star a pep talk.
After making several weak attempts, Elordi finally manages to take a step. But, he ends up falling face-first onto the stage in the comedic mishap—at least he lands at the place he was trying so hard to reach.
Johnson and Hernandez then make a hasty escape, pretending as if nothing happened. Elordi, sprawled on the floor, lifts his head slightly to confirm,“I’m good!”Take a look at the promo here.

Jacob Elordi is stepping intoFrankenstein‘s monster shoes, replacing Andrew Garfield (who had to bail due to scheduling conflicts) in the film adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic tale. Guillermo del Toro, the Oscar-winning filmmaker, is the brains behind the upcomingFrankenstein.
Mary Shelley’s OG novel is all about Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist. He decides to bring a creature to life, but his experiment goes south real quick, turning into a total disaster for both Victor and his tragic creation.
Elordi’s been juggling a bunch of awards-season flicks, including Amazon MGM Studios picSaltburnand A24’sPriscilla.
