Go Xbox, continue launching your games on the competitor.

In a pre-order FAQ, Game Science mentioned that they are still optimizing the game for Xbox but people can enjoy the game on PC and PS5 on the expected date. Theysaid–

PC and PS5 users can enjoy the full game starting July 08, 2025. We are currently optimizing the Xbox Series X|S version to meet our quality standards, so it won’t release simultaneously with the other platforms. We apologize for the delay and aim to minimize the wait for Xbox users. We will announce the release date as soon as it meets our quality standards.

Following their Statement there is hope to see the game coming to Xbox soon.

A failing person can work with little hope

Irrespective of the backlash received by Xbox, it has still been able to uphold its status of being a great console by battling with unforeseen challenges they have faced over the years.

Some people also empathized with Xbox by mentioning how open they had been during the backlash faced by them at the time of Baldur’s Gate 3 release. One usersaid–

This is incorrect. Microsoft even tried to help Larian Studios.pic.twitter.com/jSuvEUO19s

Black Myth: Wukongwill surely be coming to Xbox, there is no doubt about that, the question is only of when. Xbox fans just need a little more patience, good news might just be around the corner.

All in all, it is not fair to bash something so much that it loses its morale and fails to deliver. Xbox series S has been facing issues lately and there is a team behind it, trying their best to fix it. So all we can do is sit back and hope for the best.
