With the broadcast winding down, Kimmel grabbed the mic and read out Trump’s scathing review from Truth Social, mocking his critique of Kimmel’s hosting skills and slamming the show as too politically correct and boring. It reads,
“Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars? His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and can never be.”
Surprisingly, Kimmel’s monologue was pretty tame, barely touching on politics and not even mentioning Trump until the end.
