Recently talking with Josh Horowitz at the Golden Globes, the director admitted that they have determined who the bad guy for this forthcoming installment was going to be while adding “I hope so” to the question of if the reveal would be surprising to the audiences. I think the story is a continuation, in a certain way, and completely different in another. It’s going to show different sides of Rob. I think it’s going to be really exciting, I think it’s going to be really cool.

Some of these choices include the Black Mask, who is a mob boss who leads the Sionis Crime Family aka the False Facers, and Calender Man, who is famous for committing themed crimes that corresponded with holidays and significant dates.
