Krafton’s life simulation game inZOI is headed to consoles, specifically the PS5. Although a release date has not been announced yet, the publisher has confirmed a release window.
So far, only a PS5 version of inZOI has been confirmed, with an Xbox version “in consideration” at the moment, and aNintendo Switch 2 port might not even be possible.

ThePlayStation Store inZOI pageis now even up as well, which details the game’s features.
inZOI PS5 Version Out In Early 2026
In the press release sent by Krafton, it confirms that inZOI for PS5 will be released in the first half of 2026. Expect the game to be “fully optimized for console,” and will have the same gameplay experience and features as its PC brethren.
Krafton has also confirmed that the controls will be reworked for consoles, to “ensure a seamless and intuitive gameplay experience.”

Alongside the console announcement, Krafton also confirmed that the Mac version will be out on August 20 via the Mac App Store and Steam. System requirements include Apple silicon Macs with an M2 chip or newer and 16GB or more of unified memory.
The same day the Mac’s version is released, the game’s first DLC, “Island Getaway,” will also be released, coinciding with the start of gamescom 2025.

Krafton said that additional details and the official release date will be shared at a later date, which I wouldn’t be surprised if it materializes as one of The Game Awards' big announcements.
Released in March this year on PC, inZOI exploded in popularity out of the gate for gamers who were looking for an alternative toThe Sims 4. While the game has encountered a few bumps along the way, it remains the only legitimate Sims competitor on the market right now.

Speaking of which, game director Hyungjun Kim is aware of the Sims comparison andhas commented about it.
