It looks like the rumors were true! Just a few weeks ago,we reported on the purported release datefor Indiana Jones and the Great Circle release date on PS5, which turned out to be the real deal with Bethesda’s announcement today.
MachineGames' PS5 port of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be out on April 17. We also got a live-action trailer featuring Nolan North and Troy Baker, two legends in the video game genre. Troy Baker voices Indy in the game, while Nolan North is the voice behind Nathan Drake, the protagonist of Sony’s legendary Indiana Jones-esque Uncharted franchise.

Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Whips Out on April 17
According to Bethesda, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been “visually optimized” for the PS5 Pro, but failed to get into the specifics.
PlayStation gamers can look forward to two new whip abilities, Open Season and Sleight of Hand when the game launches. With “Open Season,” whip-cracking an enemy will temporarily cause them to take more damage from subsequent attacks, while using “Sleight of Hand” can disarm an enemy and cause their weapon to fly Indy’s way. Based on the press release, these abilities will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC on April 15.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available in three flavors, and of course, there are pre-order bonuses for handing Microsoft your money out early.

With all pre-orders, players will receive “The Last Crusade Pack,” which provides the Traveling Suit Outfit and the Lion Tamer Whip for Indy. The Premium edition will give players access to the upcoming story DLC titled, Indiana Jones and tegh Great Cricle: The Order of Giants," which is set to be released sometime this year. Added items to the Premium variant include the Temple of Doom Outfit and a digital artbook, and even two days early access starting on April 15.
The Collector’s Edition is priced at $189.99, and houses all the freebies from the Premium Editionalongside a bunch of real-world items.

If you’re on the fence whether to get Indy’s latest adventure, check out the reviews for the game onOpen Critic,which is at a pretty impressive 87 critical average from 175 reviews. Barring anything game-breaking, the experience of the Xbox and PC versions should be the same, which means adventure fans are in store for a treat.
While Bethesda or Disney haven’t made any official announcements, fans who dug Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will most likely get more adventures in the future, as parent companyDisney wants more of itafter the game’s commercial success.
