Stellar Bladeis finally here, and gamers cannot wait to get their hands on this long-awaited title, but if it wasn’t for one phone call, gamers would have likely missed out on this fantastic title, as it would have been completely different from what we will be receiving.

The reason we are gettingStellar Bladeis because the CEO of Shift Up coincidentally contacted Sony at the perfect time, leading to the collaboration that we will be seeing now and ultimately leading to the title we will be receiving.
Stellar Blade May Not Have Been the Game It Is Now if It Wasn’t for One Phone Call to Sony
During the production ofStellar Blade, the developers behind the game, Shift Up, worked tirelessly on the project to ensure its quality, but one additional aspect of the game’s development didn’t come into effect until after the CEO of Shift Up contacted Sony on one faithful day.

Luckily, during a trip to South Korea, Kim Hyung Tae contacted Sony, which led to Shuhei Yoshida making a trip to Shift Up’s studio and trying out the game for themselves. In this coincidental situation, Shift Up managed to create a new relationship with Sony, leading to the collaboration between the two companies.
The Project Might Have Been in a Rough Situation if Sony Didn’t Come Along and Provided Assistance
Even though Shift Up is a rather large company and could have likely createdStellar Bladeon its own, it has been largely assisted by its collaboration with Sony, as both companies have assisted each other in creating a fantastic new experience for gamers to enjoy.

Along with the joint effort to createStellar Blade, there is also the bonus added thatStellar Bladewill be a PlayStation exclusive rather than being released on numerous titles all at once, providing it with a rather unique atmosphere that players can only enjoy if they own a PlayStation.
During the game’s production, Sony managed to bring a lot of features withinStellar Bladethat Shift Up wouldn’t have been able to manage on its own. This happened due to Sony providing different tools for Shift Up to use in the game’s production while also allowing for localization of the title so that it includes 22 different languages for players to choose from and many more features.

This all came about thanks to one simple phone call that led to a fantastic collaboration between two companies that could bring us one of the best games of the year.
