Chris Hemsworth is set to appear in the next installment of theMad Maxfranchise. Despite all the success that the actor has garnered, it seems he still remains a little shy when meeting actors who have done the same, as he revealed to Vanity Fair.

The actor has appeared in a slew of high-profile projects, ranging from the Marvel Cinematic Universe toGhostbusterstoMen In Black, painting a very elaborate picture consisting of some breathtaking science fiction and action projects. However, it seems no amount of facing jötunns and ghosts would have prepared the actor to meet another star that Hollywood cherishes: Brad Pitt.

Chris Hemsworth was “scared” to meet Brad Pitt

Speaking withVanity Fair,Chris Hemsworthhad a lot to talk about his career and his life, focusing on the many things that he is excited about, and what anxieties plague him after his many years in the industry. Hemsworth talked about his first meeting withBrad Pitt, which seemed to be a little awkward for the actor but evolved into something the actors can laugh about together. Hemsworth revealed:

“I was kind of hiding in the corner. My agent came by and said, ‘Did you meet Brad yet?’ I said, ‘Oh, he doesn’t want to meet me,’ and my agent said, ‘No, he does, come and say hello!’ When Brad went to shake my hand, somehow in my eagerness I’d already gone in for a hug. Which thankfully was accepted, and we had a chuckle about.”

The actor might have found himself to be a little overwhelmed, but it seems that the interaction played out in the Avengers alum’s favor. Hemsworth also revealed that he and Pitt had a shared love of bikes, which they talked about at length.

Chris Hemsworth talked about what his future in the industry will look like when asked about the time he had spent in the industry. Hemsworth has a bucket list of sorts he wants to go through, which he revealed as well, without the specifics:

“I went through a sort of list of films with my production partner yesterday, a bit of a wish list, and then I was like, ‘Well, that’s six films. That could be the next decade. That could be it. Who knows where I am at that point?’”

He is also allegedly mulling over a musical and a romantic comedy, which seems to be pending announcements.
