There’s been some discourse on her being abused or manhandled in some of her previous relationships.The actress herself has spoken up about feeling she was being “thrown around”and“manhandled”by boyfriends in her documentary (viaThe Mirror). However, she chose against name-dropping the person.
JLo has recently cleared Diddy’s name from such allegations. As per an insider report published byThe Daily Mail(viaThe Mirror), Lopez was referring to a different ex-boyfriend and not Combs.However, theMaid in Manhattanactress has revealed that theBad Boy For Liferapper was the first man to ever be unfaithful to her in a romantic relationship (viaThe Mirror).

Lopez started dating Sean Combs in 1999. After being in a highly talked about relationship for a few years, the couple decided to go their separate ways in 2001.Speaking toVibe Magazinein 2003, JLo spoke the tale of Combs’ infidelity towards her. She said (viaTheMirror):
“It was the first time I was with someone who wasn’t faithful. I never caught him but I just knew. He’d say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never come back that night.”
This experience, the actress said, took a toll on her. She said (viaThe Mirror):
“I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin.”
In the end, love prevails. Having gone through so much heartache and pain, from abusive relationships to infidelity to a broken marriage, JLo finally found happiness with husband Ben Affleck.
