However, the reason behind her decision is one that haunts most actors and actresses in the film and television industry: the lack of creative control in a project.
Speaking of her performances lately, Fox confessed:
Yes, you can bring your creativity and express something through it within this very limited box. But I think there’s only a handful of actors who are really talented in that way, where they can fully express within the boundaries of what it is to be an actor. And I’m not one of them.
That very same reason has kept Megan Fox an arm’s length away from Hollywood, although she made a rare appearance with a leading role in the 2024 sci-fi thriller,Subservience.
