While efforts to contain them are underway, so far several thousand properties have been razed to ashes, and others are at risk of, including celebrity homes.

While fortunately, actress Jennifer Garner’s house has remained safe from the destruction, she has been feeling pretty guilty over losing something way more precious: a friend.

I feel almost guilty walking through my house. You know, what can I do? How can I help? What can I offer? What do I have to offer with these hands and these walls and the safety that I have?
