Fans have been waiting for years now for Yoshihiro Togashi to give them newHunter x Hunterchapters while also being patient at the same time. The mangaka’s health became a huge topic of concern and it led to many indefinite hiatuses that has stretched the duration of the manga rather widely. Although that in itself has not been a problem for dedicated fans, it is still a ray of sunshine to see new chapters of the iconic manga getting released.

The status of Togashi’s bad back had many fans concerned, especially for the mangaka who had already given the world a masterpiece as great as Yu Yu Hakusho. Many urged him to take a rest and let someone else illustrate the manga in his place but that wasn’t something he would agree to.

Although they had made sure not to add any unnecessary pressure.
These updates came with the possibility of new chapters also being released soon. Soon, forHunter x Hunterfans, is not a definite term. It is as long as Togashi wants it to be and that is completely fine. He may take as much time as he wants because his health takes full priority. No one wants to read a manga that comes with the cost of one’s physical and mental health.

It was understandable that Yoshihiro Togashi needed a well-deserved break because of his declining health. However, as he began sending regular updates to everyone through his account, many saw their brewing anticipation increase manifolds. These updates came with him also talking about his health. On days things were bad, fans became more worried. On days it was good, they were there to lift him up.
Volume 38 ofHunter x Hunterwas recently published and it completely took over the stores. Not only were booksellers eager to advertize and sell the manga but readers and fans were more than up to buy them. It may not be out of the ordinary seeing that it was something new. Except that the only thing new about it was that it was available in physical format.
